Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. This is the step #2 of my Darlene's Mystery Quilt. I used the gold, or tan, for the pieces. Some of the colors are lighter than the background but I'm trying to use this line only and my fabrics are limited. It's going to be dedicated to my Mother who passed many years ago. She was very Irish with a temper to go along.
And this is how it looks now. I went to bed and began thinking of step #3 thinking, what am I going to do? So I got up and trimmed off the second little border and made it 1.25 to come out at 1" when sewn. I will take a better picture tomorrow in the sunshine to post on Darlene's Flickr. It does look better, even if it's a little wavy. Hopefully now at 2:30am my time, I can go to sleep.
